Terms of Service

The basics that govern your use of this site and our services. Last updated June 18, 2026.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CornerBeacon website and the consulting and development services we provide. By using this site or engaging us, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. Who we are

CornerBeacon is a remote-first, AI-native app development company serving small, local, and industrial businesses in the United States. You can reach us at hello@cornerbeacon.com.

2. Use of this website

You may use this site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or access it in ways not permitted by these Terms or applicable law. Content on this site is provided for general information about our services.

3. Services and proposals

Specific work is defined in a separate written proposal or agreement that states the scope, deliverables, price, and timeline. Where we quote fixed prices on this site (for example, the app tiers on our pricing page), those figures are starting points for typical projects; your actual price and timeline are confirmed in your proposal before any work begins.

4. Illustrative examples and no guarantee of results

Sample builds, "example outcome" figures, and most case studies on this site are illustrative — they describe what we would build and representative results, not guaranteed outcomes for your business. Some case studies are based on real engagements and are presented anonymously; even those reflect a specific situation. Results depend on factors outside our control, and we do not guarantee any particular revenue, savings, ranking, or performance result.

5. Fees and payment

Fees, payment schedule, and any recurring (monthly) amounts are set out in your proposal or agreement. Unless stated otherwise, invoices are due on the terms specified there. Recurring services continue until cancelled per your agreement.

6. Intellectual property

This site's content, branding, and design are owned by CornerBeacon. Ownership of deliverables we build for you, and any licenses to underlying tools or third-party platforms, are addressed in your project agreement. You retain ownership of your own business data.

7. Third-party services

Our work often relies on third-party platforms (for example, AI providers, telephony, hosting, scheduling, and payment processors). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or performance beyond what your agreement specifies.

8. Confidentiality and data

We treat your business information as confidential and handle personal, customer, and operational data as described in our Privacy Policy. Where we process data on your behalf, the terms of that processing are set out in your agreement.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

This website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Services we perform under a signed agreement carry the warranties stated in that agreement and no others implied by this site.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CornerBeacon will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site. Our liability for any engagement is governed by, and limited as set out in, the applicable project agreement.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which CornerBeacon is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Project-specific agreements may specify venue and governing law that control for that work.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "last updated" date above, and continued use of the site after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

13. Contact
